Common Faults Of OTIS Elevator (including Analysis)

1. Xizi Otis STAR-CON elevator: equipped with CB-II LPB SIEI fault phenomenon: elevator self-protection (LCB-II protection) TT display shows door protection. After checking, no wiring issues were found. After replacing the LPB board, the elevator returned to normal

2. The elevator is not running, and upon arrival, it was observed that the F6C fuse had tripped. Upon checking upwards, it was found that the phase sequence output was incorrect and the relay light was not on. After replacing the phase sequence relay, the elevator is functioning normally.

3. The door closes slowly and almost weakly. When checking the power supply voltage of the door machine, it was found that there was almost black carbon powder on the armature when checking the cam inside the door machine box. Clean the door machine with soft paper to restore normal operation

4. The CHVF door cannot be moved after about 20CM. It requires a lot of hand force to fully push open the door. During the process of pushing the door, one side of the car door was found to be tilted. When checking the car door rollers, it was found that the rubber skin on one roller was damaged. After replacement, it was normal. Similarly, the same fault can occur in the hall door. If the rubber skin on both rollers of a pair of doors is damaged, temporary emergency measures can be taken to scrape off the rubber skin on the rollers and readjust the door to operate

5. During the maintenance of T40 elevator AB in parallel with elevator A, it was found that there was no external call for elevator B. After turning off the power supply of elevator A, it was found that elevator B was functioning normally. After investigation, it was found that elevator A's No. 8 fuse was burnt out. The No. 8 fuse is a+42V power fuse. If it was burnt out during maintenance, it should be checked whether the power cord of some buttons or safety touch panels was grounded during maintenance

6. Customers of CHVF elevator have reported that they frequently call for the 4th floor elevator to stop for maintenance on the 3rd floor, but the fault still persists. After observing the control cabinet in the upper machine room, it was found that the elevator normally opens from the bottom floor upwards and requires IPD for each floor it passes through DZ.IPU flashes sequentially, but when passing through the second floor, the IPU lights up again immediately, suspecting that there is a problem with the accompanying cable or the deceleration induction switch. After replacing it with a spare cable, the elevator returned to normal. Measuring its original cable, it was found that the cable still had 24V when passing through the second floor, indicating that there may be cable breakage in the accompanying cable and it may collide with each other during operation!

I once encountered a T3200 elevator at station 15/15. The elevator ran up to the 6th floor and made an emergency stop, but then returned to normal. Stop urgently at the 10th floor and then return to normal. Preliminary judgment is that the door knife hit the door wheel. Check that the clearance between the door blade and the door wheel is within the normal range, but the elevator swings left and right relatively large. Upon inspection of the guide shoes, it was found that the guide shoe in the middle of one side of the door blade was worn out significantly, causing it to swing to one side and collide with the door wheel during operation, resulting in an emergency stop. The elevator is functioning normally after replacing the guide shoes.

8. T2000VF user complained that the elevator was shaking and shaking very terrifyingly. Using TT to check MC fault record 2703 and DB fault record INVERTER OCT, it was found that the UDX relay contacts were normal, the control cabinet motor wiring pile head was normal, and the motor coil resistance was normal. However, the fault could not be detected temporarily. It was later considered that if the brake could not be released under normal conditions and the PVT was abnormal, it could also cause the fault. After checking the brake, it was found that the plug welding wire was loose. After welding, the fault was repaired.
