Procedures For Replacing A KONE Elevator Mainboard

Today, we'll walk you through how to replace the main control board on a KONE elevator.

When the main board needs to be replaced:

First, remove the U7 and U8 chips from the old board and install them onto the new board.

Next, reconnect all wiring securely and in the correct sequence.

Then, transfer the parameters from the old board to the new one,
with special attention to Menu 1 and Menu 6.

After confirming the parameters are correct: run 521 Shaft Learning, then perform 571 parameter check.

Finally, power on the system and run a test.
Check for any fault codes and troubleshoot accordingly if needed.
