Check the encoder wiring: Inspect the encoder connector and cables for pinching or breakage; a damaged encoder cannot capture pulses, preventing door width detection.
Inspect the mechanical door operator: Manually move the door panels to check for foreign objects in the guide rail, binding of the hanger rollers, or a loose/slipping drive belt; excessive mechanical resistance can result in a pulse count below 20, triggering the fault.
Verify operational procedure: Motor tuning must be completed before performing door width self-learning; activating distance control mode without first learning the door width will inevitably trigger Error Er27.
Clear debris from the guide rail, adjust the belt tension, and re-run the complete door width self-learning procedure.
