Monarch Frequency Inverter 02/03/04 Troubleshooting

Today we'll share how to resolve fault codes 02, 03, and 04 during Monarch inverter commissioning.

These faults correspond to: acceleration overcurrent, deceleration overcurrent, and constant speed overcurrent.

When these overcurrent faults occur, we mainly check the following points:

First, check if the elevator wiring is correct and if there are any grounding or leakage issues with the power line.

Second, check if there are any problems with the output of the sealing contactor.

Third, inspect if the motor cables are damaged, aged, or have abnormal grounding.

Fourth, check if the drive board (inverter body) is normal; an inverter fault will also directly report an overcurrent fault.

Finally, check if the brake gap is appropriate. If the brake cannot be released or there is friction, the motor current will also be too high, which will also report an overcurrent fault.
