How To Resolve E10 And E11 Faults On A Monarch Elevator
E10 indicates a controller overload, and E11 indicates a motor overload.
From the names, we can understand that the motor is under excessive load and struggling to rotate during operation.
When these faults occur, focus on the following checks:
First, check whether the brake is fully released while the elevator is running.
If the brake does not open completely, the traction machine will have to work much harder to rotate. This can not only trigger overload faults but may also cause excessive current or voltage, potentially damaging the inverter or the main controller board.
Second, check whether the motor parameters and encoder parameters in the inverter are set correctly.
Pay special attention to the F1 parameter group.
If these parameters do not match the traction machine, it can easily cause current overload or voltage overload faults during commissioning.
